Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana Tickfaw River at Liverpool affecting St. Helena Parish. For the Tickfaw Riverincluding Liverpool, Holden, Killian, MontpelierMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Tickfaw River at Liverpool.
When: Until early tomorrow afternoon.
Impacts: At 9.0 feet, Pastures and crop land adjacent to the river will flood. Rural areas near the river will be threatened with flooding.
Additional Details: - At 9:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet. - ForecastThe river has crested and expected to fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
